Sounds On The 7 Train.

"Stand clear of the closing doors please," was the first thing I heard once I got on the 7 train. I enjoyed this exercise because I never got the chance to focus on my surrounding sounds since I always focus on my music or phone. Aside from hearing the conductor, I right away heard piles of conversations.  A group of teenage boys making jokes on one another using the entire cart while they had a conversation with one another. I also got to hear teenage girls who were close to me, gossiping. There was also the sounds of really loud Spanish music, that I was personally able to "jam" too since it was a horrible choice of song. One sound that I would have never thought I would hear in a loud train was the sound of someone typing on their iPhone. However, the most over powering sounds came from outside the train. The train riding on the tracks was the obvious and loudest sound I heard. While the train was arriving the it's stops a rich squeaking sound accruing, to the point where it gave me "goosebumps" because it sounded like a scratch on a chalkboard. Also one of the strongest sound is the sound of another train passing right next to the train you're in, I was also about to feel it which made the sound a lot more interesting. I chose the sounds of the 7 train because it's the train I mostly take and I never paid attention to a ride home until now.
